Where should I study abroad? I’m a Canadian doing my degree in New Zealand.?
Question by Chanel: Where should I study abroad? I’m a Canadian doing my degree in New Zealand.?
I am thinking of Sweden because it is supposedly the best country for women in terms of equality… so I would like to see how good it really is. Also I like chilled weather and snow a lot. Also I was thinking of Norway, Iceland, Finland and… kind of thinking of Italy, Malta and France (although it would be harder for me to do because of my degree requirements). I am half German so maybe I should put that on the list too, however I have not been there and don’t know what it’s like except that they all work very hard and are more reserved. Oh and what about Czech Republic (Prague)? My friends went there and said it was the favourite European city… but don’t a fair number of their women want to escape and become mail order brides?
ORRRRR…..
I was thinking going to the US because I can fly back to Canada and then drive my car down to wherever… my options would be university of Montana, California state university, university of Illinois, university of Miami, university of Maine, university of utah or Purdue university in Indiana I believe.
I know I have a lot of options, thanks a lot for any response!

if all those places are the same for you, i suggest you chose the one which has the climate you like best. after all is said and done, nearly all universies are of a similar level with very small differences in requirements. base your decision on whether you prefer living in a large city, on an island, if you like cold or warm weather, the language the people talk, entertainment available in the place, the cost of living and proximity to home – these are the factors you should look at, in my opinion, as they might affect your mood to study.
hope this helped and good luck for your studies!

Do think my dog is warm enough?
Question by **: Do think my dog is warm enough?
my parentsd won’t le me get my dog in the house. he is a too big chiwawa not one of tiny weeny ones. he’s kind of mixed with a golden retriever and .. chiwawa-ish. ok don’tlaugh at me lool. anyway he has a small tiny kennel in some shelter near our door. loads of blankets (i stole them from my mom lol) and a sweater. is he warm enough/? bt the weather here isn’t very cold in winter (malta) it’s only about 12 degrees.
i change his blankets every week and he has a huge garden to get exercise… we put him in an hour a day but he’s a rather large chihuahua. he has mediumish fur.
and I KNOW how to spell it but it’s easier lol..

It’s like don’t drive too fast, you might fall into sea. Sorry, I had to.
Just like any other Mediterranean country. Temperament but kind, lots of old stuff and beautiful sea. You can always lie down and watch fishing boats. Their economy is pretty much based on tourism so I guess they have lots of attractions, other than sea. Wikipedia has some pics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malta
